Sam, I know I’m late to the game here - for some reason, I never received this issue, and by some miracle of weirdness, it arrived this week. Just wanted to amplify your comment on the Liszt piece - don’t they have interns hanging around just hoping someone will ask them to make a Spotify or Apple Classical playlist set of examples for articles like these? I checked the Alex Ross blog to see if it might be there, but no luck. He did this for his book - The Rest is Noise - and it was enormously valuable. And it’s all still there on the blog for anyone who might want to read the book, which I recommend, at least for music lovers.

His blog is a fantastic resource!
